David Michal Lipták

David is a registered psychologist, career development practitioner and human resource professional. He joined National Training Masters in 2015, and is a valuable member of the Senior Executive Team. David leads the Learning and Development team and has a focus on strategies and policies that promote sustainable people growth at National Training Masters. A hands-on leader and mentor, David works closely with other NTM leaders and the HR People and Culture Team to attract and retain the best staff and teachers. A key role for David is supporting optimal student outcomes, by placing them in the right course at the right level at the right time through to course completion. David has extensive experience in the VET and tertiary industry with over 26 years of experience. Having worked previously for organisations including the Department of Education and Training, TAFE NSW, and the school and ELICOS sectors.

David is responsible for the Regional Education portfolio for NTM. By supporting regional communities across Australia, David works closely with businesses and the government sector to provide training solutions to meet skills demands in the bush. David lives in the Central West and is an active member of his regional community.

David also maintains his own private consulting practice in psychology, career development, and human resource development. As a certified Adult, Language, Literacy and Numeracy Practitioner, David also provides pastoral support for diverse students and those at risk. David’s passion and research interests include Neuroplasticity, Artificial Intelligence (AI) in vocational education and training, and the effects of “The Great Resignation” on retraining and career development.
